When you first get OSI Affiliate Software, one of the things that we recommend that you do is email all your customers and let them know that you just launched a referral program.

To make this easy for you to do we have provided an email template that you can use with your email newsletter provider. If you have Constant Contact, you may use it to send your customers an invite to join your referral program. If you do not have a Constant Contact account, you may sign up for a free trial by going here.

Follow the steps below to set it up.

Step 1. Notify support@osiaffiliate.com to enable this free feature to your account.

Step 2. Once activated, log in to your OSI Admin account and click on Promote.

Step 3. Click Learn More under Easily Enroll All Your Customers.

Step 4. Prepare your CSV file of your customers or potential affiliates with the required information such as First Name, Last Name, and Email address.

Step 5. Upload your email list CSV file and the system will download an exact file with an added column for their auto sign up link. Rename the first column to 'Sign up link' for easy reference.

Step 6. Highlight the column of the Sign up link.

Step 7. Click Data and select Split text to columns.

Step 8. Choose Custom separator and put a question mark in the field (?).

Step 9. Copy the remaining URL and paste it in a notepad for later use.

Step 10. Cut and paste the data from column E to D. Save the file.

Step 11. Go back to your OSI Admin account and scroll down to change the logo and text of the pop-up window.

Step 12. Log in to your Constant Contact account. Click Contacts then Create List and name the list Affiliate Sign Up.

Step 13. Click Add Contacts and select Upload from file.

Step 14. Create a text custom field and name it 'sign up link' for column D data. Click Continue then Upload.

Step 15. Create your email template in Campaign. Create your sign up button and click on it and Link.

Step 16. In the Link URL field, paste the URL from Step 9, add question mark (?) followed by [[custom.sign_up_link]]. Click Insert once done.

Step 17. Send Campaign as you normally would and once they click on Sign Up button, they'll be taken directly to their affiliate dashboard wherein they just need to enter their password.
