When you first get OSI Affiliate Software, one of the things that we recommend that you do is email all your customers and let them know that you just launched a referral program.
To make this easy for you to do we have provided an email template that you can use with your email newsletter provider. If you have Aweber, you may use it to send your customers an invite to join your referral program. If you do not have an Aweber account, you may sign up for a free trial by going here.
Follow the steps below to set it up.
Step 1. Notify [email protected] to enable this free feature to your account.
Step 2. Once activated, log in to your OSI Admin account and click on Promote.
Step 3. Click Learn More under Easily Enroll All Your Customers.
Step 4. Prepare your CSV file of your customers or potential affiliates with the required information such as First Name, Last Name, and Email address.
Step 5. Upload your email list CSV file and the system will download an exact file with an added column for their auto sign up link. Rename the first column to 'Sign up link' for easy reference.
Step 6. Login to your Aweber account. Hover over List Options and select Custom Fields.
Step 7. Create a custom field and name it 'sign up link'. Click Add and Save Custoom Fields.
Step 8. Hover over Subscribers and select Add Subscribers.
Step 9. Click on Import multiple.
Step 10. Import your CSV file and map the data accordingly and complete the import process.
Step 11. Draft your email invite by hovering over Messages and select Broadcasts.
Step 12. Create your email invite as you normally would. For the signup button, use '{!custom sign up link}' in the URL field.
Step 13. Send your email broadcast. Once they click on the Sign Up button, they'll be taken directly to their affiliate dashboard wherein they just need to enter their password.
